The ingredient is also able to produce dopamine in the pleasure centres linked to having an orgasm.

The nutritionists suggest swapping milk chocolate for dark chocolate as it boast a higher cacao percentage.

Cheese

Good nutrition is essential for the healthy production of hormones that maintain libido and allow you to perform in bed.

Studies have shown that a protein-rich diet can help not only maintain a healthy sex drive, but it could boost how much time you spend between the sheets.

Therefore you should up your intake of protein rich foods such as cheese, as well as meat, fish and eggs.

Nuts

We all know the health benefits of snacking on nuts rather than reaching for crisps or cake.

But as well as being better for the body, nuts, especially almonds and cashews contain zinc and omega 3
fatty acids, which are essential for blood flow, which boosts libido.
